Background of Service
I served my country as a member of the Royal Westminster Regiment, deploying as a NATO peacekeeper to Bosnia in 2000. I always bring the same level of hard-earned discipline and dedication that the military bestowed upon me to every word I write.
Unique Suite of Skills and Interests
After the military, I trained to be a welder and fabricator, gaining over two decades of experience. This led me to expand my initial skillset learning through hands-on experience, from machining to electronics. I am a jack of all trades with a set of interests that cover hundreds of topics. When not working with my hands on the latest DIY project, I’m reading and researching on often obscure topics.
Writing as a Profession
I’ve always been a writer, but in 2015, I pursued paid writing gigs. In the subsequent decade, my work has been published in a variety of newspapers and magazines along with a long list of websites. Throughout this journey, I’ve written for dozens of clients, crafting blog posts, articles, product descriptions, website content, and ebooks, to name a few. I initially started a TikTok account under my name where I cover interesting facts about history, but have since embarked on a journey through a second channel, Ronin Survival, to educate the public on topics related to wilderness survival, prepping, and the outdoors.
